Dichiarazione di Accessibilità
Last updated: March 2026
1. Our Commitment
GIORIZZ S.r.l. is committed to ensuring that our website, mobile experience, and transportation services are accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to luxury chauffeur services and strive to provide an inclusive experience for all our users.
This commitment is guided by the following standards and regulations:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 — Level AA conformance target
- European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882), applicable from 28 June 2025
- EN 301 549 — European standard for ICT accessibility requirements
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — Title III, for users in the United States
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act — US federal accessibility requirements
- Italian Law 4/2004 (Legge Stanca) — accessibility provisions for information technology
- UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) — ratified by Italy (L. 18/2009)
2. Digital Accessibility (Website & Booking Platform)
We design and develop our platform with accessibility in mind. Our current measures include:
2.1 Perceivable
- All images include descriptive alternative text (
altattributes) - Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text
- Content is structured with semantic HTML headings (h1–h6) for logical reading order
- Interactive elements are visually distinguishable without relying solely on colour
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
2.2 Operable
- All interactive elements are keyboard-accessible (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys)
- Focus indicators are visible on all focusable elements
- No content flashes more than three times per second
- Users can navigate the site using skip links and landmark regions
- Touch targets meet minimum size requirements (44 x 44 CSS pixels)
2.3 Understandable
- Page language is declared in the HTML (
langattribute) for screen readers - Form inputs include descriptive labels and clear error messages
- Error messages identify the field and describe how to correct the error
- Navigation is consistent across all pages
- Plain language is used where possible, avoiding jargon
2.4 Robust
- Valid semantic HTML5 markup throughout the application
- ARIA attributes are used where native HTML elements are insufficient
- Compatible with major assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Tested across modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
3. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our platform has been tested with the following assistive technologies:
| Technology | Platform | Status |
|---|---|---|
| VoiceOver | macOS / iOS | Supported |
| NVDA | Windows | Supported |
| JAWS | Windows | Supported |
| TalkBack | Android | Supported |
| Keyboard-only navigation | All platforms | Supported |
| High contrast mode | Windows / macOS | Supported |
| Screen magnification | All platforms | Supported (up to 200%) |
4. Physical Accessibility (Transportation Services)
Beyond digital accessibility, we are committed to making our physical transportation services accessible:
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available upon request during the booking process. Our booking form includes an accessibility field to ensure the right vehicle is assigned
- Trained chauffeur partners provide assistance with boarding, luggage, and any special requirements
- Flexible service — chauffeurs accommodate additional time for boarding and alighting where needed
- Communication — special requirements can be noted in the booking and are communicated to the assigned chauffeur
Special category data: when you indicate accessibility requirements (e.g., wheelchair access), this may constitute health-related data under Article 9 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process this data only with your explicit consent and solely for the purpose of providing the requested service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we acknowledge the following areas where we are actively working to improve:
- Map components: interactive map elements (pickup/drop-off selection) may have limited screen reader support due to third-party mapping library constraints. Alternative text-based address entry is always available
- PDF documents: some downloadable documents (invoices, receipts) may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility. We are working to provide accessible alternatives
- Third-party content: embedded content from third-party services (payment forms via Stripe) follows those providers’ own accessibility standards
We are committed to resolving these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.
6. Conformance Status
The GIORIZZ platform partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conforms” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, as noted in Section 5 above.
We conduct regular accessibility audits — both automated (using tools compliant with the WCAG-EM methodology) and manual (keyboard navigation, screen reader testing) — and address findings in our development cycle.
Our development process enforces accessibility at the build level: all JSX accessibility rules are set to error severity, meaning accessibility violations prevent code from being deployed.
7. Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the GIORIZZ platform. If you experience any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
| info@giorizz.com | |
| General Support | info@giorizz.com |
| Phone | Available on our Contact page |
When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:
- The page URL where you encountered the issue
- A description of the problem
- The assistive technology and browser you were using
- Your preferred contact method for follow-up
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days where technically feasible.
8. Enforcement and Legal Framework
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant enforcement body:
- EU / Italy: Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (AgID) is the enforcement body for digital accessibility under Italian Law 4/2004. Complaints may be filed at agid.gov.it
- United Kingdom: The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) enforces the Equality Act 2010. Visit equalityhumanrights.com
- United States: Complaints under the ADA may be filed with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division
- EU Member States: Each EU member state has a designated enforcement body under EU Directive 2019/882. Contact your national consumer protection authority
9. Review and Update Schedule
This accessibility statement is reviewed and updated at least once every 12 months, or sooner when significant changes are made to the platform. The next scheduled review is March 2027.
Our ongoing accessibility programme includes:
- Automated accessibility checks integrated into our CI/CD pipeline
- Manual accessibility testing as part of each feature release
- Annual comprehensive accessibility audit
- Accessibility awareness training for development team members
